Warm greetings! I’m so glad you are reading this page— means you are looking for change. I love walking with those taking the tiniest first step or embracing a new path.

Therapy can help you find your own source of strength. Maybe it’s inside you, just waiting to be discovered, or a gift from your culture or ancestors. Maybe it’s outside: new knowledge or skills. Maybe it’s spiritual, physical, or expressive. I believe that when you are empowered by your source of strength, you can make the change that leads to your best life.

I know that you are complex. Your circumstances and past are unique, and so is your strength. Your therapy has to reflect your complexities. For that reason, I collaborate with you to choose the approaches that will serve you best, utilizing both non-western and western approaches.

As someone who spent a decade living cross-culturally, I have the capacity to understand and embrace cultural differences and their ramifications. I am especially interested in non-Western perspectives of how people grow after experiencing trauma, and I embrace the intricacies of cultural nuance.

Therapy is helpful after events that cause trauma and grief, and for those experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and aimlessness. Some therapeutic approaches that my clients have found to be helpful include somatic, mindfulness, expressive, and cognitive.

My background includes two degrees in English Literature and a Master of Clinical Mental Health from Moody Theological Seminary. I’m a wife and mom. I love literature, nature, and expressive and practical arts.
